About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader to join our Cross Boundary Team as a Senior IT Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategy and innovation, leading on the application development and coordination of technical teams to create and maintain products and services for DWP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure corporate services by understanding key risks and mitigation through assurance mechanisms.
  • Lead a large technical team (around 100 resources) in creating and maintaining products and services for DWP.
  • Contribute to critical business discussions to inform strategy across areas such as software development, engineering, DevOps and solution architecture.

Hybrid Working

We work a hybrid model, where you will spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face-to-face in a hub. Due to the size and location of the team, there will be an element of travel required to all hub locations.

Location

You will join us in one of our digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle, whichever is most convenient for you.
