About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Professional to join our dynamic Procurement Technology team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the definition and delivery of specific Air Procurement automation projects, involving cross-functional working, to achieve agreed project outcomes and realization of quantified benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Leader and Manager in the definition and delivery of specific Air Procurement automation projects, involving cross-functional working, to achieve agreed project outcomes and realization of quantified benefits.
  • Support the measurement, reporting, and forecasting of Air Procurement automation performance.
  • Help identify and promote opportunities for improvement, through process simplification and standardization, introduction of new capability, and/or expansion of existing solutions and practices.
  • Provide support to Air Strategic Delivery Unit (including Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in terms of user communication and training on existing and new capabilities.
Requirements
  • Working understanding of Source to Pay processes and tool sets and IT such as ERP systems including Infor LN.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, fostering close and trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
  • A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem-solving, and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment.
  • Ability to compile data, analyze, and propose recommendations through reports and presentations and working on large complex projects.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working on Change/Transformation projects.
  • You will have, or be working towards MCIPS OR have a similar professional qualification OR hold a degree in a STEM or a business-related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance).
