About the Role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic bus drivers to join our team at Stagecoach East Midlands. As a bus driver with us, you will be responsible for safely transporting our customers to their destinations, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure the bus is clean and tidy, and that all necessary checks are completed before each journey
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff to ensure the smooth operation of our services
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

  • A competitive salary of £29,000 after initial training period
  • Guaranteed 40 minimum hours per week, with opportunities for overtime

Requirements
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • Hold a valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Have a patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving
  • Be able to work a variety of shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
