About the Role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic bus drivers to join our team at our Spalding depot. As a bus driver with Stagecoach East Midlands, you will be responsible for safely transporting our customers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Operate the bus's ticketing system, handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful as a bus driver with Stagecoach East Midlands, you will need:

  • To be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • To have a patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving
  • To be able to work a variety of shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
