About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Community Nurse to join our integrated team in Bexley and Greenwich. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to children and families with complex medical needs, long-term health conditions, and short-term health conditions requiring rapid service input.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a caseload of children with varied health conditions, ranging from complex medical needs to long-term and short-term health conditions.
  • Work closely with Band 7 specialist nurses to support learning and development within the scope of your role as a Band 6 nurse.
  • Provide clear, visible leadership and professional clinical expertise to the Band 5 Children's Community Nurses in the team.
  • Ensure every aspect of the child and family's experience is delivered in a safe, efficient, and evidence-based manner.
Person Specification
  • Evidence of completion of Practice Assessor course.
  • Evidence of NMC Child Nurse qualification at diploma or degree level.
  • Evidence of core competence within previous and current roles.
  • Car driver, clean driving license.
