Job Title: Band 5/6 Community Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Children's Nurse to join our friendly and progressive Community Children's Nursing Team. As a Band 5/6 Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical nursing care, training, and support to children, young people, and their carers in the community.

About the Role

As a member of our team, you will contribute to the provision of safe and reliable services by using your clinical judgement and risk assessments to keep the people using our services as safe as possible. You will also be responsible for safeguarding people by recognising and responding when an adult or child might be at risk from abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical nursing care and support to children, young people, and their carers in the community.
  • Conducting risk assessments and using clinical judgement to keep people safe.
  • Safeguarding people by recognising and responding to potential abuse.
  • Maintaining compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Person Specification
  • Child branch/RSCN qualification.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Previous experience as a Band 5 or Band 6 nurse.
  • Experience in assessing and care planning.
  • Experience of safeguarding.
  • Car driver with access to a car.
