Job Title: Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at Hillingdon Council. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children and families to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with children and families to assess their needs and develop plans to support them.
  • Provide guidance and support to social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve the delivery of children's services.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years post-qualifying experience in a children's social work setting.
  • Experience of working in a front door team or assessment team.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
