Job Description

Job Title: Trade Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing day-to-day trade compliance matters within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management of the IPR Program: Ensure the existing program is maximized and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  2. Compliance Checks: Conduct regular checks on all entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  3. Ownership of HTS Codes: Take ownership of HTS codes in the UK and ensure regular checks are conducted to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. ECCN and Export Control Management: Work with relevant teams to ensure correct export classification and compliance with regulations.
  5. Support for CBAM Implementation: Provide support for the implementation of CBAM in the UK.
  6. General Support to Senior Compliance Officer: Provide general support to the Senior Compliance Officer, including training and reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Experience: Experience in trade compliance, preferably in a similar role.
  3. Skills: Excellent understanding of all relevant Customs regulations, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively learn and operate within Gulfstream enterprise systems.
