Trade Compliance Manager

Job Summary:
Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Manager to join our team. As a Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing day-to-day trade compliance matters within Gulfstream. You will take ownership of compliance at a daily level within the Farnborough office and provide effective management to the team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the IPR Program: Ensure the existing program is maximized and compliant.
- Compliance Checks: Conduct regular checks on all entries and establish a system of checks to ensure accuracy.
- HTS Code Management: Own and manage HTS codes in the UK, ensuring accuracy and closing any gaps.
- ECCN and Export Control Management: Work with relevant teams to ensure correct export classification and manage ECCN and export control processes.
- CBAM Implementation: Support the implementation of CBAM in the UK.
- General Support: Provide general support to the Senior Compliance Officer and manage two compliance specialists.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Experience in trade compliance, preferably in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent understanding of all relevant Customs regulations, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
