We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Steam Methane Reformer plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site operational activity on a shift-by-shift basis to meet pipeline demands.
  • Ensure all operational activities are carried out in compliance with our safety management systems, including management of contractors and preparation, issuance, and control of permits to work.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the ongoing safe and reliable operation of the site.
  • Have direct responsibility for the output from the SMR to ensure customer demands are satisfied in accordance with local operating procedures.
  • Operate plant to obtain maximum performance and ensure purity specifications are achieved. Monitor and maintain individual plant efficiency to provide optimum plant throughput in accordance with design specifications.
Requirements
  • Education to HNC level in an engineering subject.
  • Broad knowledge of Steam Methane Reformer operation or similar plant.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving, planning, and coping with the demands of operating and leading a team under pressure.
  • Proficiency in the production of regular management reports and ability to own and manage issues of an inter-disciplinary nature.
  • Excellent communication skills, good decision-making, and high level of self-motivation and initiative.
