Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our Corby team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for organizing deliveries of ready mix concrete to various building projects around the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes to ensure efficient delivery of materials
  • Manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor and adjust transportation schedules as needed to meet changing customer demands
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure accurate delivery schedules and customer expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar industry, with a focus on transportation planning and logistics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Basic IT skills, with experience using transportation software a plus
