Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our busy team at Blue Arrow - Coventry. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager with day-to-day transportation activities, including developing efficient transport operations and optimizing existing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Transportation team to plan and implement transportation strategies
  • Review customer requirements and recommend vehicle types and freight charges
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation department SOPs
  • Handle customer complaints and process urgent ones to Senior Management
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods
  • Coordinate loading and unloading activities
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance appointments
  • Receive customer requests and bookings
  • Plan daily transportation schedules and assign drivers
  • Perform administrative duties, including preparing and maintaining shipment documents, invoices, and logbook entries
Requirements
