Transport Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our busy team at Blue Arrow. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager with all day-to-day transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating with the Transportation team to plan and execute transportation strategies
  • Reviewing customer requirements and recommending vehicle types and freight charges
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and transportation department SOPs
  • Handling customer complaints and processing urgent ones to Senior Management
  • Coordinating loading and unloading activities
  • Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments
  • Receiving customer requests and bookings
  • Planning daily transportation schedules and assigning drivers
  • Performing administrative duties such as preparing and maintaining shipment documents, invoices, and logbook entries
