Procurement Administrator Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is pleased to be working with a leading Doncaster-based manufacturing business to recruit a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating terms and addressing performance issues.
  • Material Sourcing: Develop cost-effective sourcing strategies, ensuring materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Cost Control: Manage project budgets for procurement activities, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor budget variances.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align procurement activities with project timelines and manage inventory levels.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, while staying updated on market trends that may impact decisions.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Procurement Administration: Raise purchase orders, prepare metrics, expedite deliveries, and assist with RFQs, NDAs, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a busy administrative role.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
