Job Overview
At Resourcing Group, we understand the significance of effective property management within the transport sector. We are currently seeking a Property Management Surveyor for a hybrid contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
As a Property Management Surveyor, your primary duties will include:
  • Acting on behalf of the DVSA in all landlord and tenant matters related to its commercial property portfolio, including negotiating new leases, lease renewals, rent reviews, and resolving legal disputes.
  • Facilitating the acquisition of land and buildings to align with the DVSA's strategic objectives and asset management plans.
  • Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient acquisition deals are achieved.
  • Managing property disposals, whether freehold or leasehold, to maximize capital receipts within designated timelines.
  • Providing comprehensive valuations, appraisals, and business cases for various purposes.
  • Identifying underperforming assets and evaluating opportunity costs to enhance property utilization.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a professional property management role, specifically in General Practice.
  • In-depth knowledge of property management legislation and practices, including landlord and tenant relations, acquisitions, disposals, lease renewals, and rent reviews.
  • Strong budget and contract management skills, particularly in financial and property-related contexts.
  • Expertise in Estate Management practices.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience within the public sector.
  • MRICS status is preferred.
