Overview
We are dedicated to collaborating with our partners to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained facilities by consistently exceeding expectations. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the role of 'Site Maintenance Coordinator' to join our Facilities Management Team, responsible for overseeing maintenance across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Site Maintenance Coordinator, you will be tasked with performing minor general maintenance and support activities, as well as planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across several sites.
You will report to the Multi-Site Technician and will receive appropriate training to develop the skills necessary to complete the following tasks (not an exhaustive list):
- Execute scheduled weekly and monthly maintenance tasks (e.g., fire alarm tests, water temperature checks, and cleaning of shower spray heads).
- Implement the weekly defrost program for stores.
- Conduct minor repairs to building fabric.
- Perform minor decorating duties.
- Address minor plumbing repairs.
- Carry out minor joinery tasks.
- Complete various ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A diverse range of practical skills and experience in a trade, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and within set timeframes.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with strong customer service skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating self-motivation and effective workload management.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with tablets and software such as Word and Excel, along with good communication abilities.
- A valid UK driver's license for roles covering multiple sites.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves lifting heavy items and using ladders.
