Job Title: PCN Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned manager with NHS experience to join our team at Wellfield Health Centre. As a PCN Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading the development of our network and project managing the services we provide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff, budgets, and DES targets to support the PCN and its member practices in achieving their objectives and improving patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with the PCN Clinical Director and Practice Management team to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Lead on digital transformation projects to improve access to care and enable PCN staff to work more effectively.
  • Act as a central information and administrative resource for members of the network.
  • Support the nominated practice with the administration of PCN finances, including the review and approval of payments for processing.
  • Process ARRS Claims using the national portal and in accordance with the requirements of the PCN DES.
  • Review the PCN's digital maturity and recommend optimisation of new technologies to enhance patient access and efficiency.
  • System Management of EMIS Community Clinics for all ARRS roles.
  • Produce activity and performance reports for the PCN Board.
  • Coordinate PCN Board meetings, including setting dates, drawing up agendas, taking minutes, and communicating decisions to the wider PCN.

Wellfield Health Centre is a network of seven GP practices serving a population of 47,000 patients. We are looking for a manager to help drive the development of our PCN and its services.

Our member practices include Castleton Health Centre, Dr Hamid's Practice, The Kingsway Practice, Kirkholt Medical Centre, Middleton Health Centre, The Hive Health Centre, and Wellfield Health Centre.
