About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team at Hiscox. As a key member of our data team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders in making informed decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Conversations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide commercial insights to support business decisions.
  • Data Expertise: Utilize your expertise in data analysis and visualization to deliver high-quality insights and reports to support business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data scientists, to drive business outcomes and improve data-driven decision making.
  • Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain regular reporting and insights to support business leaders in making informed decisions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for data management and reporting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as PowerBI, and a strong understanding of data warehouse technologies.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and ability to understand business needs and develop insights to support business decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the insurance industry and data management practices.
