Learning Support Assistant for Students with Severe Learning Difficulties

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in Dover.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group support to students with SLD. You will assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere to promote student engagement and participation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to students with SLD, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and support strategies, ensuring students receive the best possible support.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create an effective and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting student engagement and participation.

Requirements
