FMCG Business Growth Manager

The Business Growth Manager for the FMCG sector will play a pivotal role in driving expansion and enhancing market presence for our product offerings. This position is integral to developing and executing strategic initiatives aimed at boosting brand recognition, increasing sales, and nurturing robust relationships with key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategic Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to uncover emerging trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape within the FMCG sector.
- Formulate strategic plans to leverage market opportunities and fulfill business objectives.
- Enhance awareness of new product launches among key wholesale and retail customers.
Business Development and Sales Enhancement:
- Identify and pursue new business avenues to broaden market reach and stimulate sales growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to secure new business partnerships.
Product Management:
- Collaborate with product development teams to refine and expand the company's product portfolio.
- Spot opportunities for product innovation and enhancements to meet changing consumer demands.
Brand Development and Marketing:
- Work alongside marketing teams to devise and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Coordinate trade promotional activities and collaborate with suppliers and production teams.
Distribution Network Development:
- Generate leads through consistent market engagement and participation in trade events.
- Build and sustain relationships with distributors and retailers to ensure optimal product distribution.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to evaluate business performance and identify improvement areas.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market sizing.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and growth opportunities.
Commercial Management:
- Assist in commercial planning, forecasting, and promotional costing.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and promotional spaces.
- Manage vendors for trade point of sale materials and supplies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the FMCG industry, particularly in the food sector.
- Strong grasp of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive factors in the FMCG landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and implement business plans.
- Results-driven approach focused on achieving sales targets and business goals.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
