Debt Advisory Role at Caravel

This is an exciting opportunity to join Caravel, a boutique real estate advisory firm with a strong track record of helping clients buy and sell assets and raise capital for transactions.

The role sits within the debt advisory team, working closely with clients through the full transaction lifecycle. As a debt advisory professional, you will have the chance to work with experienced principals, see a broad range of transactions, and play a key role in a small team.

Caravel is looking for someone with 2-4 years of transactional experience in the UK real estate market, gained at an advisor, lender, or investor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of debt and equity advisory, with the ability to build new client relationships and work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Origination: Build new client relationships, focusing on the mid-market, and work towards autonomously originating new debt and equity advisory mandates.
  • Evaluation of deals: Conduct due diligence on potential clients, analyse transactions from a qualitative and quantitative perspective, and deliver a true value add offering to clients.
  • Deal Execution: Present investment opportunities to lenders, negotiate terms, and assist lenders in obtaining viable credit approval.
