Main Responsibilities

The Centre Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of the centre team, operations, and curriculum, leading to successful implementation of the company vision and learner achievement.

Key Tasks:
  • Lead and manage the team of the education and training centre, implementing the company's vision and curriculum.
  • Provide strategic and effective leadership for the operational success of the centre through effective staff management.
  • Build and extend effective local and/or national relationships that support the growth of the centre.
  • Implement support interventions for learners at risk.
  • Attend network meetings with referral agencies and local authorities to position the centre effectively.
  • Work with tutors to ensure learners receive good quality education across all courses.
  • Oversee behavioural management and attendance monitoring of learners.
  • Effectively manage the EHCP process within education, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Monitor KPIs and report to the Director of Youth Programmes.
Personal Specification:
  • Management qualifications from Level 3 (Desirable).
  • Quality assurance qualification (Desirable) or willingness to work towards.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths at grade C or above (Essential).
  • Experience and understanding of an EHCP (Essential).
  • Background in further education with a training provider or College.
