Reed Accountancy is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the weekly, four-weekly, and monthly processing of multiple payrolls for a well-established company. Your duties will include:
- Processing four-weekly payroll from start to finish
- Ensuring all expense figures balance
- Handling travel expenses and
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Processing Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP)
- Processing information related to Auto Enrolment, Child Support Agency, and Department for Work and Pensions
- Processing BACS payments
- Manual Tax and National Insurance Calculations
- Reconciling payroll
Requirements:
- Experience working in a busy payroll department with approximately 1000 employees
- Understanding of PAYE and Auto-enrolment pensions
- Strong IT skills and ability to operate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
