Reed Accountancy is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the weekly, four-weekly, and monthly processing of multiple payrolls for a well-established company. Your duties will include:

  • Processing four-weekly payroll from start to finish
  • Ensuring all expense figures balance
  • Handling travel expenses and
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Processing Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP)
  • Processing information related to Auto Enrolment, Child Support Agency, and Department for Work and Pensions
  • Processing BACS payments
  • Manual Tax and National Insurance Calculations
  • Reconciling payroll

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a busy payroll department with approximately 1000 employees
  • Understanding of PAYE and Auto-enrolment pensions
  • Strong IT skills and ability to operate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
