Reed is currently seeking an experienced Children's Social Care Specialist to join Middlesbrough Council's Assessment Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
- Develop and implement care plans to support the safety, wellbeing, and development of children and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organisations to coordinate and improve care.
- Provide support and advocacy for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children and family services.
