About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Chelmsford. As a key member of our wellbeing and recovery team, you will work closely with prisoners to provide high-quality clinical assessment and treatment for substance dependency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support prisoners in their recovery journey
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prisoners, staff, and external partners
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve service delivery
