We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a brand new nursing home in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality care to residents with varying needs.

  • Undertaking accurate assessments and planning of care, delivery, and ongoing evaluation of care plans to ensure residents' needs are continuously met.
  • Acting in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and maintaining registration requirements.
  • Deploying and supervising staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
  • Undertaking nursing tasks, including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Providing staff support, demonstration, and instruction of care activities, particularly in relation to the induction and mentoring of new staff.
  • Contributing to and attending staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Liaising with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual residents to maintain a holistic approach to their care.

The ideal candidate will possess good nursing experience, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to write care plans. They will also be able to show empathy and warmth, and carry out general nursing tasks such as peg feeding, wound care, and phlebotomy. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an excellent salary of £21.69 per hour, with the annual salary up to £49,626.72 per annum.
