The Operations teams within these facilities are tasked with managing our extensive inventory, overseeing everything from Inbound to Outbound departments.
They strive to ensure that our customers receive their orders promptly while continuously enhancing processes and workflows.
In this pivotal role, you will engage in a diverse range of interactions daily.
This dynamic position allows you to unleash your creativity by implementing your ideas and exciting initiatives, collaborating with our Operations teams, and facilitating communication within the Fulfillment Center.
Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service to both our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize, coordinate, and execute onsite employee engagement activities for associates, including competitions, celebrations, and giveaways, while managing budgets and timelines throughout the year.
- Design events tailored to the site's requirements, create promotional materials, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement site projects.
- Oversee communication channels within the Fulfillment Center, including newsletters, corporate communications, and site-specific message boards and feedback mechanisms.
- Serve as the site Charity Champion, managing the charity budget and partnering with central teams to integrate network initiatives with local charitable contributions and campaigns.
- Administer the network recognition programs onsite for associates, encouraging participation from the leadership team and associate community.
- Coordinate the overall direction and administration of the leadership team's travel, including diary management and documenting meeting actions to ensure follow-through on behalf of the General Manager.
- Collaborate closely with support staff to build, coordinate, and secure necessary resources for projects and initiatives.
- Welcome and manage visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team of the Fulfillment Center.
- Possess diary management experience at a Director or Senior Manager level, including travel arrangements and conference call scheduling.
- Contribute positively to the company's culture, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday; however, job duties may necessitate additional hours and availability outside of standard working hours. Flexibility to adjust the work schedule and travel between sites may be required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in providing support to senior leadership or within Amazon.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience in managing executive-level calendars.
- Experience coordinating domestic or international travel.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Experience managing multiple calendars.
