We are excited to collaborate with a rapidly expanding SME in the Facilities Management industry that is currently on the lookout for a Bid Manager. This role is crucial to the organization, as you will support the commercial team by crafting tailored, successful customer proposals.

This position offers a unique chance to work closely with senior management and be part of a compact bid team, contributing to the broader business objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, possess a natural flair for creativity, and enjoy the writing aspect of Bid Management. Experience in soft services would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all daily bid activities, providing comprehensive bid management support.
  • Develop and produce high-quality, innovative bid responses, ensuring that win themes are effectively communicated throughout the proposal.
  • Analyze current and future market trends to keep tender proposals relevant and forward-thinking.
  • Coordinate input from subject matter experts to gather necessary information for technical bid responses.
  • Identify and address any technical and commercial risks associated with tenders, consulting with colleagues as needed.
  • Facilitate scheduling and execution of bid meetings throughout the tender process.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Bid Writing or Bid Management.
  • Strong understanding of the Facilities Management sector, with a preference for soft services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in planning, producing, and delivering compliant bids.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
