Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Handler to join our team at Selfridges. As a Stock Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our stock is accurately accounted for and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with deliveries, working closely with the wider stock team to ensure timely receipt and processing of stock, and accurate delivery to the correct departments.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure the right product is in the right place, working with key stakeholders to collect and prepare stock for dispatch, and ensuring all items are processed and accounted for.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure system administration of stock movements is up-to-date.
  • Manage the movement of stock between various locations.
  • Provide support to the wider retail team during peak periods.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to keep the team informed of workflow and timescales.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with multiple teams to ensure the safe guarding of stock, prevent loss, and ensure product is accounted for at all times.
  • Adaptability, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to shift working priorities due to competing deadlines and changing priorities.
  • A solutions-focused individual, with the ability to review ways of working and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to lift and move stock safely and securely.
  • Alignment with our values, demonstrating a trusted and respected colleague.
