Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facility and Inventory Assistant to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes, including supply chain coordination, warehouse management, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to our colleagues and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Assist with the receipt, verification, and storage of supplies and consumables, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock control.
- Manage waste management processes, including clinical waste handling, cleaning, and maintenance of designated areas.
- Collaborate with the materials team to effectively organize and oversee the storage and stock control of all supplies and consumables, including receipt and verification of deliveries, incoming and outgoing supply distribution, delivery note and purchase order logging, and assisting with stock takes as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for our colleagues and visitors.
- Knowledge of supplies and stock management systems, with experience in using Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook 365.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the materials team and other stakeholders.
- Accuracy and efficient stock control skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate inventory levels and efficient stock control processes.
- A good level of understanding and experience with SMART and Meditech systems, desirable.
