Ecology Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Ecology Team Lead to join our team at Navartis. As a key member of our ecology team, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting the development of our ecology team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and support to ecology team members to ensure their professional development needs are met.
  2. Resource Management: Assist in managing ecology team resourcing, including hosting resourcing calls and ensuring workload trackers are used effectively.
  3. Industry Updates and Guidance: Share industry updates and changes to ecology guidance and legislation with the wider ecology team, driving continued professional development.
  4. Innovation and Efficiency: Work with innovation teams to introduce new products and practices that enhance efficiency.
  5. Technical Reporting: Provide technical review and comment on ecology reports and deliverables.
  6. Ecological Survey Coordination: Coordinate and plan the delivery of ecological surveys and technical reporting required for planning and licence applications.
  7. Project Leadership: Lead ecological projects, providing advice and direction to the ecology and environmental teams, as well as design teams and Principal Contractors.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Organize and coordinate meetings with Local Authority ecologists and other stakeholders as required.
  9. Design Integration: Attend engineering integration meetings and communicate key ecological requirements to ensure they are captured within preliminary and detailed design.
