About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Platform Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the UK platform market and financial services to provide expert guidance and solutions to advisory firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our platform solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand the unique requirements of advisory businesses and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within advisory firms, including financial advisors, practice managers, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as product development and sales, to ensure seamless delivery of platform services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role within the financial technology or platform services sector.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability – resilient, change ready and responsive, deals effectively with ambiguity.
  • Continuous learning – role models growth mindset, proactively seeks feedback, delivers effective feedback and coaching to others.

Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the UK platform market & various execution models.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services, pensions market and the wrap platform market gained through experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of the challenges faced within an advisory business with an excellent understanding all the components of the supply chain with the ability to present credible solutions to advisory firms.
  • Understanding of the mechanics and components within a centralised investment proposition and regularly seeks out and engaging third parties for ideas/solutions.
  • Exceptional understanding of technology providers that underpin platforms.
