Production Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team in Derby. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 30+ employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of production employees and ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  2. Make key production decisions in the absence of the Production Manager.
  3. Monitor and manage absence and lateness levels, disciplinary matters, holiday allocation and sickness cover.
  4. Work closely with the Quality team to manage any product defects and implement corrective actions.
  5. Support the production team in completing production tasks and deliver shift handover process.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of Team Leader or Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong leadership skills and ability to drive manufacturing improvements.
  3. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  4. Knowledge of risk assessment procedures.
  5. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
