Job Title: HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general HR support to the business, including employee contracts, onboarding, time and attendance systems, training needs identification, appraisals, disciplinary matters, and payroll adjustments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monthly payroll for around 50 employees
  • Supporting all internal managers and departments
  • Reporting to HR manager based overseas
  • Maintenance of employee personnel records
  • Drafting contracts of employment and HR change notices
  • Liaising with operational staff to resolve payroll queries
  • Liaising with HR legal support provider to ensure compliance with HR law
  • Ensuring systems are correctly updated with employee records and pay details
  • Processing day-to-day operations of staff payroll
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports
  • Handling all recruitment, including drafting job descriptions and arranging interviews
  • Time recording and staff holiday coordination
  • Generating offers of employment, including contracts and associated new starter documentation
  • Inductions for new starters, including providing manager with induction paperwork
  • Administration of return-to-work process
  • All other HR correspondence
  • Appraisal document preparation and recording of key data
  • Assisting with HR policy reviews
  • Supporting training needs analysis
  • Requesting and following up employer references
  • Providing general HR information to the business
  • Analysing data from time and attendance systems and acting upon trends
  • Providing administrative support, including taking notes in formal meetings
  • Providing administrative support for exit interviews and leavers process
  • Support to health and safety initiatives
  • Liaising with HMRC with compliance queries
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience within a similar role, HR and Payroll
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • CIPD qualified (minimum Level 3)
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling private and sensitive information
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changes and challenges
  • Commerciality and ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Persuasive and diplomatic personality
  • Mature attitude
