Fixed-Term GP Maternity Locum Position

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Fixed-Term GP Maternity Locum role. This position is designed for a dedicated and approachable General Practitioner to join our semi-rural practice, which serves a patient population of 12,100.

The successful candidate will work alongside our dynamic team, contributing to high-quality patient care during the maternity leave of our salaried GP. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for excellent patient service and is willing to commit to 6 sessions per week.

Our practice consists of 9 GP Partners and 1 Salaried GP, supported by a skilled Nursing and Health Care Assistant team, including 4 fully trained Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, and 1 Health Care Assistant. We also benefit from Health Board funded services such as Physiotherapy, Pharmacy Technicians, and District Nursing.

We are a forward-thinking practice that values continuous learning and development. This summer, we will begin teaching medical students and are currently supporting our Practice Nurses in their Prescribing qualifications.
