About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Anaesthesia to join our forward-thinking team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthesia services to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
Our elective hub at King George Hospital exclusively performs planned surgery, and we have ring-fenced inpatient and critical care beds to ensure minimal disruption to our elective programme. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative projects, such as the use of Da Vinci robots and Mako robots for Orthopaedic surgery.

We are a growing Trust, and the first in London to be accredited as one of only eight recognised surgical hubs across the UK. We are committed to delivering faster access to common surgical procedures and have a strong focus on patient care and safety.
Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled anaesthetist with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will need to have:
- MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent
- Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), or eligible for registration within six months of interview.
- Five year's experience in undertaking anaesthesia in the UK.
