Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Support Officer to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Estates department, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the implementation of Welsh Government's new recycling regulation requirements.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a wide range of audits within the Estates Technical Services disciplines, ensuring compliance with Health Board policies and procedures.
- Assisting Technical Services Officers with service improvements, including progressing compliance to the recycling agenda.
- Coordinating the collection of data and producing reports to highlight good practice and non-compliance in relation to Waste, Energy, and Environmental Management.
- Leading on the implementation of Waste Recycling schemes to address the Environment Act (Wales) and providing ongoing compliance auditing of Health Board-wide services and functions.

Person Specification
Essential qualifications include:
- GCSE English and Maths at C
- NVQ3 plus IOSH/NEBOSH Environmental Management Qualification equivalent to diploma level, or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience of working within waste/environmental fields.
- Knowledge of Waste/Environmental fields.
