Job Title: Executive Chef
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Defence. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the dietary needs of our clients and customers.
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet demand.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to handle food safely and hygienically.
- Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
