About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Layer to join our team in Basildon, working across the area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring services, including laminate, poly safe, Altro, and cap and cove installations, as well as minor plumbing tasks such as tiling and utility refitting.

You will receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device, working efficiently and safely to achieve excellent customer experience. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in wet room floors, hold a relevant NVQ, and be proficient in full cap and cove flooring, professional welding repairs, and sub-floor construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install various types of flooring, including laminate, poly safe, Altro, and cap and cove
  • Perform minor plumbing tasks, such as tiling and utility refitting
  • Work efficiently and safely to achieve excellent customer experience
  • Use a handheld device to receive and complete assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality flooring services
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wet room floors
  • Hold a relevant NVQ
  • Be proficient in full cap and cove flooring, professional welding repairs, and sub-floor construction
  • Ability to use a handheld device and good communication and organisation skills
  • Valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
