About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting effective learning, teaching, and personal development for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring they have access to learning opportunities and resources.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote pupil well-being and engagement.
Requirements
  • PVG membership for regulated work with children and/or protected adults.
  • Proven oral communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and tolerance, with the ability to respond positively to a variety of additional support needs.
