About the Role
The Devon County Council is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to the Advice and Wellbeing Team. This team is responsible for delivering a range of services to empower older people to make informed choices about their later life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Advice and Wellbeing Team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining records.
- Assist with the provision of information and advice services to older people, including responding to inquiries and providing guidance on benefits and other related matters.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to promote the well-being of older people, including identifying and addressing scams and other issues that may impact their quality of life.
- Collaborate with other teams within the council to ensure a seamless delivery of services and achieve shared goals.
Requirements
- Experience working with older people and providing administrative support in a similar role.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
