Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intercity Bus and Coach Driver to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers across Scotland while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Driving Operations
- Drive electric coaches across Scotland, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for passengers
- Monitor and manage coach performance, reporting any issues to the operations team
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passenger queries and resolving any issues
- Assist passengers with their luggage and provide information on routes and schedules
- Operational Support
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Qualifications
- Full PCV licence: Category D as a minimum
- Up to date CPC and a digital tachograph card (or able to get both quickly)
- Skills and Experience
- High-quality driving skills, including smooth braking and a commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early, late, and night shifts
- Competitive Salary
- £14.66 per hour starting rate with 40 hours guaranteed
- Salary will increase in line with your time at Ember to reward those who want to make a long-term career

- Overtime rates starting at 1.2x pay
