Job Title: Intercity Coach Operator

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Intercity Coach Operator to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electric coaches, providing an exceptional customer experience, and contributing to the growth and success of Ember.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate electric coaches on intercity routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of coaches, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize routes, schedules, and passenger flow
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Full PCV licence: Category D as a minimum
  • Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Excellent driving skills, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
