The Old Orchard is a picturesque 5-bedroom bungalow situated in the large village of Radcliffe-on-Trent. We support adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities with associated sensory needs to live the life they love. Our service users love all things cooking, and we're often found in the kitchen cooking up a storm and making all sorts of culinary delights.
We love meeting up with friends from other services and spending time out at the local coffee shops and parks. We also enjoy getting stuck into arts and crafts and relaxing while watching an in-house show. The local area has plenty of lovely countryside to explore and small shops, cafes, and pubs to socialize in.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Flexi-Bank Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing person-centered support plans, promoting independence, managing risks, encouraging relationships, and ensuring legal and best practice compliance.
- Developing flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
- Supporting individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
- Facilitating effective communication and maintaining detailed, person-centered records.
- Overseeing medication processes and supporting individuals in self-administration.
