Recovery Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Recovery Practitioner to join our team at Via Westminster Drug Project. As a key member of our integrated service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol issues to achieve their recovery goals.
The Role
This exciting opportunity will involve working with adults who use our services in Surrey, providing one-to-one and group support to help them overcome their challenges. You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, managing a caseload, and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
The Service
Via Westminster Drug Project is a well-established community-based service that provides a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions. As a Recovery Practitioner, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to the ongoing professional development of all staff. You will receive regular supervision, extensive training, and the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and aspirational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality support to service users, including one-to-one and group work
- Manage a caseload, coordinate and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and be committed to ongoing professional development.
