Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) from diverse professional backgrounds, including nursing, pharmacy, and paramedicine. If you hold a Master's level qualification or equivalent and are eager to expand your role within Primary Care, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Role Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in our Urgent Treatment Centres, you will:
  • Lead clinical teams during shifts.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with patients, including comprehensive history-taking and physical examinations.
  • Utilize your advanced clinical skills and judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
  • Prescribe medications and refer patients to primary or secondary care specialists as necessary, adhering to local protocols.
  • Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to junior staff members.

Qualifications and Skills:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • Registration as a Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist.
  • A Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or a higher qualification.
  • Evidence of training in minor illness management.
  • Independent prescribing capability.
  • Willingness to develop skills in minor injury and paediatric care.
