Join Our Team as a Payments Policy Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Payments Policy team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As a Payments Policy Associate, you will play a key role in shaping the future of payments in the UK.

About the Role

The Payments Policy team leads on the policy that makes payments work. With the payments landscape undergoing rapid change, our team is at the forefront of developing and implementing policies that ensure the integrity and stability of the UK's financial system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy proposals
  • Engage with teams across the FCA to develop and implement policies
  • Contribute to advice and briefings on payments policy issues to FCA colleagues and senior leadership

Requirements
  • Prior experience of payments, financial services, or policy making
  • Interest in payments, financial services, or policy making
  • An ability to analyse information and contribute to the development of policy
  • Willingness to learn and develop, taking on new responsibilities and adopting a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work
