About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Associate to join our Financial Regulation Team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on regulatory aspects of commercial contracts, customer terms, asset transfers, and new client propositions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on regulatory aspects of commercial contracts, customer terms, asset transfers, and new client propositions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory framework within which retail investment businesses operate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality advice and solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and assist in preparing proposals and pitches.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory framework within which retail investment businesses operate.
  • Experience of corporate transactional work and commercial contracts.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise advice, confident in its technical basis but user-friendly to busy executives.
  • Flexibility and ability to work to clients' deadlines.
  • Good business hygiene with regard to time recording, billing, and client management.
