This position is part of the Moody's Analytics Global Sales and Customer Service Group. We strive to be a world-class sales organization, always prioritizing our clients' needs. Responsibilities:- Manage a sales territory encompassing new prospective accounts (new logos) and/or market sub-segments of new-to-Moody's prospects within the Corporate Segment in the UK. Develop and execute territory-based campaigns to achieve or exceed annual sales goals.
- Establish Moody's Analytics presence with new-to-company prospects, aiming to secure our initial solution at these accounts.
- Develop and implement territory and account-based plans to generate sales from new customers.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to drive the entire sales process—from identifying and qualifying prospects to initiating new sales activities and managing sales cycles to closure. Typically, you will manage sales cycles involving multiple buying influences per cycle.
- Lead the development of business within your assigned territory. Partner with technical sales colleagues and Industry Practice Leads to create clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demonstrations that address client needs.
- Identify additional products, use cases, and services that clients may benefit from and introduce them appropriately into conversations with clients.
- Represent Moody's at industry and company-sponsored events as required.
- Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.
- This role requires approximately 20% to 40% travel.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields being desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in direct business-to-business sales roles, focusing on solution selling to the Corporate market.
- Proficiency with sales enablement tools (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, SalesLoft, etc.) to create professional, tailored prospecting strategies is preferred.
- Experience in managing and growing business within complex organizations.
- Corporate business development experience is highly valued.
