Key Responsibilities:
- Provide applicants with tailored guidance on the council's lettings scheme and procedure to maximize their sustainable housing options and rehousing prospects.
- Offer support and assistance to applicants in navigating their housing applications and encourage them to make informed decisions about available housing options.
- Assess complex cases to optimize rehousing prospects, involving collaboration with various professionals to ensure comprehensive information gathering.
- Identify potential fraudulent applications and refer them to the Team Manager.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible advice to individuals requiring accessible homes.
Requirements:
- Experience working with colleagues, members of the public, partner agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using various ICT systems.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, providing a high-quality service in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience with complex casework, working with vulnerable households, and caseload management.

- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- This role requires a basic DBS check.
